Face-to-Face Counselling

Fifty-minute session - £50

This will take place in a quiet room in The Counselling Space, Huntly Street, Aberdeen. Some clients may feel uncomfortable at the thought of sitting opposite a Counsellor, so before the session starts, we will aim to ensure that you are sitting where you feel most comfortable allowing you to feel as relaxed as possible. Sessions are confidential.

 

Telephone Counselling

Fifty-minute session - £50

Telephone counselling requires that you are in a quiet and confidential space where you feel you are able to talk freely, openly and honestly. Some clients prefer to share their stories without being seen, so the option of telephone counselling can be attractive in these instances. Sometimes, telephone counselling can just feel more convenient too, especially if you have a busy schedule. This style of counselling may also be useful for clients with mobility issues. Sessions are confidential.

 

Walk and Talk Counselling

Fifty-minute session - £50

Sessions can last from sixty to ninety minutes. Some clients may feel more relaxed in an outdoor setting walking side by side with their counsellor. These sessions take place in an outdoor location which has been agreed between the client and the counsellor and for which appropriate footwear and outerwear is required. Arrangements regarding confidentiality in public spaces are made in advance of the session.

Online Counselling​

Fifty-minute session - £50

Online counselling requires the client to be in a space where they feel able to talk freely, openly and honestly. Some clients may prefer the comfort of their own home and others, much like telephone counselling, may prefer the convenience of an online call. Calls are usually made via Microsoft Teams. This style of counselling may also be useful for clients with mobility issues. Sessions are confidential.
